That's not the way, not the way to live your life
You try to die, to take your life with a knife
You turn to drugs, you can't drink away your problems
Moneys no good, its only short time happiness
What you need is God to show you the right path to take
Give your life to Him and He will surely make it great
You think this is the end and there's nothing left to live for
You're sitting in your room with death lurking just outside the door
But what you do not realize is that its not your life to take
God is the creator and the only one who has that choice to make
You then look for drugs try to forget about your feelings
But soon you'll be back it's just a short time healing
There's only one way you can go why don't you understand it
Now you cant say "I didn't know" cause I'm telling you about it
You say you don't care about anyone including yourself
Well how can you be happy when you keep lying to yourself?
"no man is an island" a quote I once knew
didn't get it then, but now I think I do
you need God to lead a happy life these days
not many people know this and that's why we have him to praise
It's thanks to Him we have a life and He can make it good
All we have to do is live for him and the rest will fall into place like it should
